World Taekwondo (WT) and the Albanian Taekwondo Federation have officially released the event outlines for two upcoming international referee training and qualification seminars, taking place this September in Tirana, Albania.

Both seminars will be hosted at the official venue: Te Stela Resort & Spa.

65th WT Poomsae International Referee Seminar

• Dates: 08 – 11 September 2026 (4-day seminar: Tuesday – Friday)
• Venue: Te Stela Resort & Spa (Tirana, Albania)
• Key Requirements:
  • Holder of Kukkiwon 4th Dan or higher (2nd or 3rd Dan holders may attend upon MNA recommendation if the MNA has 10 or fewer active Poomsae IRs).
  • Holder of a national Poomsae referee certificate issued by the pertinent MNA.
  • Endorsed by the pertinent Member National Association (MNA).
  • Holder of a valid WT Global Official License (GOL).
  • Minimum age: 21 years.

141st WT Kyorugi International Referee Seminar

• Dates: 12 – 15 September 2026 (4-day seminar: Saturday – Tuesday)
• Venue: Te Stela Resort & Spa (Tirana, Albania)
• Key Requirements:
  • Holder of Kukkiwon 1st Dan or higher.
  • Holder of a national referee certificate issued by the pertinent MNA.
  • Endorsed by the pertinent Member National Association (MNA).
  • Holder of a valid WT Global Official License (GOL).
  • Minimum age: 21 years.
  • Good command of oral and written English.

Important Deadlines & General Information

• Registration Deadline: 31 July 2026 (Strict Deadline)
• Participation Fee: USD 400 per participant for each seminar
• National Quota: Maximum 10 participants per country per seminar
• Accommodation & Airport Transfer: Bookings for the official event hotel (Te Stela Resort & Spa) and visa support requests must be submitted by 31 July 2026.

Registration Process: Applications must be submitted online and approved via the WT Global Membership System (GMS). Payment must be completed prior to the registration deadline.
